The Virginia Tech Foundation’s Office of General Counsel is seeking a Summer Law Clerk for the upcoming 2017 summer. The position is located in Blacksburg, Virginia and is 40 hours a week beginning in late May and ending in mid-August, however dates and hours are flexible. This position is open to first and second year law students. It is a paid hourly wage position. There is no housing included. This is an opportunity to experience the in-house legal environment. Your duties will include conducting intensive research, writing memos, drafting legal documents, working with internal clients, and completing special projects. Interest in real estate, estates and trusts, corporate, nonprofit, tax, compliance, and intellectual property law a plus.
