Virginia Tech Foundation

The Virginia Tech Foundation, Inc. offers general information/training classes on a semi-annual basis. Classes are open to any VT employee who utilizes Foundation monies or desires to learn more about the Foundation's role within the University community. Class objectives are to educate University personnel about the functions, policies, and procedures of the VT Foundation.

The courses provide an in-depth overview of the functions of the Foundation, including fund establishment and maintenance, disbursements, receipts, endowments and other investment opportunities, and VTF Banner and associated reports.

The foundation also offers more freqeunt and specific courses on reporting. In particular, courses on VTF Banner reports as well as VTF Web reporting are frequently available.
