FINANCIAL HIGHLIGHTS

During the year ended June 30, 1999, the foundation's managed funds increased to $541 million. This $42-million increase was due largely to the gift of intellectual properties valued at $23 million. Additional assets included $340 million held in endowments, $75 million in real property, $54 million in other investments and trusts, $47 million in other donated assets, and $25 million in contributions receivable. During the fiscal year, expenditures supporting various university projects and programs reached a record high of $61 million.
